SHAH ALAM:
On 5th March 2016, UNISEL Shah Alam is the place where a seminar
called Direction of National Education happen. The speaker of this seminar
talked about why Dual Language Program (DLP) should be abolished. The reason
why it should be abolished because it’s to ensure the use of the Malay language
among the people can be improved. Besides that, they wanted to rebrand the
Teaching and Learning of Science and Mathematics in English. Also, it got implemented
to improve the English language proficiency with the so-called country that
does not speak English’s foreign trade is low but the fact that Vietnam is
actually less fluent in English, their foreign trade is higher than our
country. Although English is very important in the international corporate
world but the developed countries have not been teaching their students in
English.
